Ho! Man, I hate to wish anyone bad, but I am going to be glad to not see/hear Jon Peter Lewis anymore. I will refrain from all Hobbit jokes, etc. and just let the man be in his time of sorrow. Or something. PS, why am I surprised every time that Quentin Tarantino is a cartoon of himself? I'm always like, "No way!" By now, I should know. ... say something, anything (1) This nonstop rain is sort of endearing in its suckiness. Kind of like me. OK, so who else noticed Mike O'Neill playing with Sarah Harmer when she was on Ellen on Wednesday? Who else even knows who Mike O'Neill is? Well, I noticed. And I was happy for it. In other "Who?" news, make sure you're at the Joel Plaskett Emergency show next Tuesday. 4/20 at the Mercury Lounge here in NYC. 9PM, $8. ... say something, anything (1) how come every loser I get matched with on OKCUpid is "less sex-driven" than I? Yesterday, in my mom's apartment building, the elevator stopped on 1 (which is very annoying anyway) and a weird Polish man grumbled something and, instead of stepping on, ran away. A minute later, out front of the lobby, he walk toward me yelling something in Polish. I was about to have a total freakout, when I noticed there was an old Polish lady standing behind me. I needed a new favorite song, since the greatness of "Kissing the Lipless" by The Shins has even started to fade to me. "We were lovers/ We were kissers/ We were holders of hands/ We were make-believers." Good God, that's great. How great? There's a 12-inch remix. That great. So yeah, I'm home. I was happy to be home, then I realized I came home to this song. I never ever want to leave again. And in case you missed 'em, my pictures of The Darkness are kind of hot.
