I think I should make this a weblog. Mostly because I am envious of Rubytrax's delightful bloguey goodness, but also because I feel like I can't come up with more than one paragraph most days. Yeah, I guess that was said before and better by Rubytrax as well. I should just outright copy her and do the blogue thing on my own site and run away from Diaryland, but I have this lovely SuperGold membership for another six months. Also, the DigsRing, the wonderful buddy list feature (so that people can read it the minute it is updated, before I proofread it and change everything, yay!) free D-Land ads, etc. It's hard to leave. So I think that I stay, but completely redo. I need to find a way to make The Modern Log (because you know I can't go into "blog" territory. Web LOG, right? Modern Log. Easy. And tempting. Oh ho! - Ever put my Best of 2003s up at DDYWNYC See, I'm pretty busy. I applied the other day for a job which sounded like my dream job. It was a mid-level editorial position with a parenting magazine where I would be dealing with the readers, the only aspect of editing I have ever liked. Yes, dealing with readers and maintaining the magazine's cumulative index. I love that junk. So far, my resume has been marked submitted but not read or approved or rejected. The form letter I got said, "It takes us a really long time to get back to you." Yay. Bleh. In better news, El Fano was working on a new corporate identity for some insurance company and I wrote the little tagline for the cover of their information folder/media kit thing and so I made 1250! I really needed that $1250. I also really need more jobs where I come up with four words and earn $1250 a shot. Two of those a week, I'd be doing very well. OH! Maybe if I make Jane Says a weblog? This is something to consider. See how disjointed my thinking is? This is why I need to work in short bits. Like Modern Log and 4-word jobs. The end. ... say something, anything (3)

Loving: Tuna sandwiches. Solid white, tsp of mayo, chopped celery, onion. Serve on wheat toast with sliced tomato. Yum. Hating: I have a cleavage blister. A blister on something that isn't my heel? Yes. How? I don't know. Needing: To figure out side dishes for this turkey breast I promised to cook. Damn low-carber is messing up my menus. they said they were friends of mine
