If you were going to work for no money, would you pick a job you hated, where you had to work until 9 or 10PM and wanted to kill everyone? I'm guessing "no." Which is what I'm trying to tell those people in payroll. Also, why would a giant corporation want to hold on to my sad $1000 so much that they create a conspiracy to keep it? I wish I was making this up, but I am not. And I'm not a deranged paranoid either; it wasn't even my idea that this was going on. But it is. Now I see it. My college-student brother is lending me a billion dollars so that I may pay my rent. He's so good. I am so pathetic and he is so good. Yesterday I got as a present a new 80 gig hard drive. Which is pretty exciting as it was just yesterday, while downloading songs, that my computer notified me that I had exactly 0MB left. I blame the download of Todd Haynes' "Superstar," of course, but only having 12 gigs to begin with wasn't very good anyway. Now I have to figure out how I want to install it. I feel like moving the good stuff to CDs and Zips and wiping everything out and reinstalling. Maybe the computer would be less cranky then. So yes, this is my news. I didn't catch "Average Joe" last night. How was it? I think El Fano is moving back in. If we can talk the landlord into accepting Kid-E, that is. It will be so good for everyone, this arrangement. Keep your fingers crossed for us. ... say something, anything (2)
